while I get home from work

while I put the kettle on to boil

while I feed the cats

(for the past week I had to give medicine to one as he suffers from hyperacidity, and finds it hard to swallow)

while I water the roof-garden

that you built me as a token of our love

but it is my white pants that get muddy from the hose

as I watch the lotuses (that, I know, are lilies), as I decided they are the symbols of our renewing relationship

(while they grow slowly)

Broken Projects -installation, performance, political poetics

multi-media installation and performance 2014-2020

Broken Project is a performative theatrical installation, expanded in time and space. The aim of it is to question our society’s cultural issues regarding relations of the individual and the community. It is not intended to amuse or entertain, to answer questions or to provide jurisdiction. Instead, it tries to discover autonomous attitudes of human empathy, solidarity, openness and tolerance. Participating artists deliver their own media to process the current topic, to connect to one another, in order to present a piece that one can involve in and connect to, to be able to create one’s own variants. A complex corpus of performances and installations connected in one performative space, Broken Project seeks for answers on authenticity of ars poetica in today’s Hungary.
